Get pinged by email or text when your work is done
v1.4.0 lets agents reach you directly — by email or SMS — so you don't have to babysit a long-running workflow. The safety rule is simple: an agent can only message a destination you've personally verified. No agent can email or text a stranger.
Verify a destination (one time)
Head to Settings → Messaging:
- Email — your account email shows here with a Verified / Unverified badge. If it isn't verified yet, click to resend the verification link and confirm from your inbox. Once verified, agents can email you.
- Phone — add a number, we send you a one-time code by text, you enter it, and the number is verified. Repeat for each number you want to allow.
How many numbers you can verify depends on your plan — from one on Free up to three on Team.
Use it in a workflow
Add an Email or SMS node to any workflow. There's no recipient field — the message goes to you, at your verified destination. A few patterns that work well:
- "Done" pings — the last node in a scheduled report emails you when it's ready
- Approvals — an agent drafts something, then an Email node asks you to review before the workflow continues
- Anomaly alerts — a branch that only fires when a value crosses a threshold sends you an SMS
You can also just ask an agent in a chat — "text me when you've finished processing these files" — and it'll use your verified number.
Plan limits
Monthly send volumes scale with your plan: Free includes a modest allowance of texts and a larger allowance of emails, with Pro and Team including progressively more. If you hit a limit — or try to send to a destination that isn't verified — you'll see a prompt that links you straight back to Settings → Messaging.
This pairs nicely with outbound channels: use Slack/Discord/Telegram to tell the team, and email/SMS to tell yourself.
